The Electric Cinema, Birmingham is the oldest running cinema in the UK, opening in 1909.
I worked together with the cinema to produce an illustration to celebrate the unveiling of Birmingham Civic Society plaque and the visit of Ben Wheatley to launch his new film Free Fire. The film poster is featured within the light box in the illustration, beside the classic Metropolis.
The Electric Cinema limited edition print celebrating 110th anniversary of the longest running cinema in the UK, (est. 1909). The illustration also commemorates the prestigious Birmingham Civic Society history plaque, unveiled by director Ben Wheatley.
